Sex Infections

STI head

This pretty picture is what a Sexually Transmitted Infection looks like under a microscope. Most cases of STIs can usually only be seen under a microscope.

STIs either have no symptoms, or no recognisable symptoms (either because they are mild or like something else).

This is why (unlike ‘The Sex Education Show’ on Channel 4, which I hate) I’ve not included any pictures of horribly diseased penises and vaginas. Also people only take pictures of penises and vaginas if they are in a really bad way, “can someone get a camera in here please, this one is awful!”

So you can look completely fine and still have an infection.

Have I made myself clear?

So you should try and avoid getting an infection from sex, however I’m not going to tell you that these infections are disgusting and scary because often they aren’t. They are very very common and sometimes, shit happens.
