A guide to saying no

It should be easy to say no but often it isn’t. Here’s the Bish guide on how to say no.

We all get hassled to do stuff that we don’t want to do. Sometimes we need to do stuff we don’t want to do because we understand that it will be better for us in the long run: waking up in the morning, working, washing, that kind of thing.

However sometimes we get hassled to do stuff that we think might not be good for us in the long run, something which makes us feel unsafe or scared-in-a-bad-way or something we think is wrong. It’s up to you what this stuff is but it might be things like:

  • being pressured into having sex even though you aren’t feeling it
  • taking drugs or drinking alcohol
  • doing something illegal
  • listening to N-Dubz

Sometimes it feels easier to say yes than to say no. Sometimes saying no can be harder than just going with the flow. But remember life is about choices, you always have them and you should always make them FOR YOU. Making good choices for you makes you feel better and makes you happier in the long term.

So here are some tips on how to say no to stuff you don’t want to do…
