If someone only learnt about sex and relationships from watching porn then they might assume that towards the end of most sex acts, men sit up, masturbate and then ejaculate over their partner. They might also assume that their partner always likes this.
You’ll probably already know however that not everyone likes to cum over people and not everyone likes being cummed on. Some people (men and women) think that it’s a bit degrading, that it’s a bit like spitting on someone. Some people also prefer to feel their partner in their arms and kiss them when they cum, rather than watching them masturbate.
However some people really do like it. They like it because their partner really likes it, or they get turned on by doing something pornographic, or they like being degraded (if they were role playing within a mutually trusting and respectful relationship) or they just like it, see first comment below.
But I’m sure that people who do like it would get bored of it after a while. In porn they seem to do this all the time. It’s referred to as the ‘money shot’ and porn producers think that this is something that their viewers want to watch.
So in real life remember what you do when you have sex is your choice. If you want to cum over your partner you should ask nicely. If you don’t want your partner to cum over you, you should say: it’s your body and you have the right to say no to anything you want doing to it.
Remember as a method of contraception and safer sex, it’s not that great: better than nothing but nowhere near as good as condoms. For more on that go here
